Dennings had a relationship with Nick Zano her "2 Broke Girls" co-star from 2011 to 2014. After the breakup the couple, she then started dating the singer Josh Groban. The two stayed together until 2016. Dennings as well as Andrew W.K. met in the early part of 2021. They soon began dating and declared their engagement in the May of 2021. Dennings is an avid follower of this musician. She's been following him since the year 2014. Dennings has admitted that, even though she is Jewish and grew to be part in the Jewish community on a cultural and ethnic level, religion is not a major element of her day life. Her interests include gardening, reading, as well as painting. Earlier in life she planned to apply to the art institute, but it was ruined after her portfolio was wiped out by flooding. She took the flood as a sign, and decided to pursue acting instead. Transcendental mediation is her preferred method.
